Pending EU’s 2021-2030 strategy on rights of people with disabilities, national ombudspersons put forward their recommendations

National “Commissioners and Ombudspersons” representing the interests of people with disabilities in the EU Member States issued a joint statement on Wednesday 18 November detailing their recommendations with a view to the publication in early 2021 of the European Disability Strategy (see EUROPE B12584A20) which would be in effect for 10 years.

Commissioners and ombudspersons met at an inclusion summit organised by the German Presidency of the EU Council.
