European Commission publishes inception impact assessment for revision of Smart Transport Systems Directive

In view of the revision of the Intelligent Transport Systems Directive (TSI - 2010/40), the European Commission published an inception impact assessment on Thursday 8 October, which will remain open for comments until 19 November.

"The evaluation of the Directive concluded that there is a clear need for further measures to be taken [...] to enable the establishment of seamless and continuous ITS services across the EU", said the European Commission.
