European Parliament Committee on Legal Affairs finds nothing wrong with financial interests of Ms McGuinness and Mr Dombrovskis

The European Parliament’s Committee on Legal Affairs on Thursday 24 September found that the declarations of financial interests submitted by Mairead McGuinness and Valdis Dombrovskis, Commissioners-designate for Financial Services and Trade, respectively, did not present any conflict of interest with the portfolios awarded.

The hearings of the two Commissioners-designate can take place on Friday 2 October, said Parliament spokesman Jaume Duch Guillot via Twitter...
