“United to reverse the loss of biodiversity for sustainable development” is the headline commitment to nature that world leaders will soon be making, a commitment for which the European Union is preparing.
The draft text, examined by the EU Council working group and seen by EUROPE, was approved by videoconference on Thursday 10 September and will be followed by a silence procedure to enable the Council bodies to finalise it with a view to its adoption.
