Some national energy/climate plans remain insufficient to meet EU climate targets, says PlanUp

Despite slight improvements compared to their draft versions (see EUROPE B12277A4), the final national energy and climate plans (NECPs) of Hungary, Poland, Romania, Italy and Spain are not up to the task of meeting the European Union's climate goals, according to analyses published on Wednesday 9 September by PlanUp, a consortium including the NGOs Carbon Market Watch, Energy Cities, Transport & Environment (T&E), Climact and the European Environmental Bureau (EEB ).
