Commission approves new geographical indication for Poland

05/08/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 5 August, the European Commission announced the approval of the application to enter the honey 'Miód spadziowy z Beskidu Wyspowego' in the register of protected designations of origin (PDO). Miód spadziowy z Beskidu Wyspowego' is a honey made from honeydew from fir trees in the mountain forests of Beskid Wyspowy in southern Poland.
