The European Banking Authority (EBA) announced, on Thursday 30 July, that its next bank stress tests will take place in January 2021, with publication of the results scheduled for the end of July 2021.
In March, the Authority decided to postpone the 2020 exercise of its ‘stress tests’ (see EUROPE B12416A21) in order to allow banks to concentrate on the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
