Pedro Duque officially presents his candidacy to head ESA

30/07/2020 (Agence Europe) – Pedro Duque, Spain's current Minister for Science and Innovation and a renowned astronaut, officially announced his candidacy to succeed Germany's Jan Wörner, the current Director General of the European Space Agency (ESA), whose term of office will end on 30 June 2021, on his Twitter account on Thursday 30 July.
