Bulgaria reallocates €6.6 million of EU funds for companies affected by Covid-19

Bulgaria has modified its ‘Operational Programme’ for the implementation of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) to reallocate €6.6 million of public aid to compensate companies for financial loss caused by the coronavirus outbreak, the European Commission announced on Wednesday 29 July.

Bulgaria has therefore decided to reallocate €6.6 million from the EMFF to improve the lives of people across the entire fishing sector and to prevent bankruptcies, closures, downsizing,...
