The European Parliament formally approves Regulation on electronic information exchange in freight transport

09/07/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament formally approved at second reading on Wednesday 8 July, the provisional agreement reached with the EU Council last November (see EUROPE B12378A8) on the electronic exchange of information in freight (eFTI). As no amendments had been tabled by MEPs, the Rules of Procedure were validated as they stood, without even a vote being required.
