Civil society dialogue on progress in negotiations over EU/China investment agreement

08/07/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 9 July, the Directorate-General for Trade is to invite civil society to a dialogue reporting on the state of play of negotiations with China. The aim of these talks is to conclude a comprehensive investment agreement (see EUROPE B12511A1), which would ensure better market access and a level playing field for European economic operators. The agreement is also due to include provisions on investment and sustainable development. (HD)
