EU Council postpones vote on environmental standards report on non-road mobile machinery

Member States' ambassadors to the EU (Coreper I) agreed on Wednesday 24 June to postpone the vote on the amendment of Regulation (2016/1628) regarding emission limits and type-approval of internal combustion engines until Tuesday 30 June, which is the last day of the Croatian Presidency of the EU Council.

During the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, the European Commission had proposed a postponement by one year of the deadline for implementing the regulation – originally planned for 30 June 2020...
