EU allocates more than €50 million to support resilience, jobs and stability in region

24/06/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced, on Wednesday 24 June, the mobilisation of a further €52.5 million to support new and ongoing programmes contributing to economic and political stability in the Sahel and Lake Chad region. This envelope, from the EU's Emergency Trust Fund for Africa, will be distributed as follows: - an additional €15 million will be concentrated in Mali; - 15 million in Niger; - 8 million in Guinea; - 7 million in Burkina Faso; - 4.25...
