Valdis Dombrovskis details Commission’s ambitions to keep EU competitive in digital finance

Executive Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis detailed the Commission’s ambitions for its Digital Finance Action Plan, due to be launched in the autumn, at the closing online conference of 2020 Digital Finance Outreach on Tuesday 23 June.

“I see digital as the future of finance”, he said, noting in particular the role that digital technology played in keeping society running during the Covid-19 pandemic.
