Covid-19, first shipment of equipment to Bulgaria financed by EU’s Emergency Support Instrument

18/06/2020 (Agence Europe) – More than seven tonnes of personal protective equipment against the novel coronavirus were delivered to Bulgaria on Thursday 18 June, with transport costs financed for the first time by the EU’s Emergency Support Instrument (ESI), the European Commission announced the same day. The shipment contained some 500,000 protective masks purchased by Bulgaria. “More operations will follow in the coming weeks”, says Crisis Management Commissioner Janez Lenarčič....
