GDP up by 0.1% in both euro area and EU in 4th quarter of 2019

31/01/2020 (Agence Europe) – In the fourth quarter of 2019, seasonally adjusted GDP grew by 0.1% in both the euro area and the European Union compared to the previous quarter, according to a preliminary flash estimate released by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat). During the third quarter of 2019, GDP grew by 0.3% in both zones. According to an initial estimate of the annual growth rate for 2019 based on quarterly data, GDP grew by 1.2% in the euro area and by 1.4%...
