European Asylum Support Office will step up its deployments in 2020 and target four priority countries

07/01/2020 (Agence Europe) – On 7 January, the European Asylum Support Office (EASO), which is to become a European Asylum Agency, said that it would double its field deployments in 2020 and strengthen its presence in Greece, Cyprus and Malta in particular. According to a press release, this will enable them to reach 2,000 people on the ground.
