Kadri Simson fails to convince MEPs on 4th list of projects of common interest

The reservations of many members of the Parliamentary Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) regarding the fourth list of projects of common interest (PCI)(see EUROPE B12351A11) still seemed to be present on Thursday 5 December, following an exchange of views with the new European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson.

The issue: the number of gas projects on the list, considered far too numerous by several MEPs.
