MEPs give go-ahead to agreement on poultry meat imports

By a large majority - 25 votes out of 35 votes cast - members of the European Parliament's Committee on International Trade (INTA) have given their approval to the draft agreement on poultry meat between the EU and Ukraine.

The agreement, which is in the form of an exchange of letters and has as its objective amendment of the trade preferences for poultry meat products in the Association Agreement between the two parties, was concluded as a matter of urgency. Imports of chicken breasts to...
