United Kingdom's copying of data from Schengen Information System would not comply with European rules, according to Commission

05/11/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission acknowledged on Tuesday 5 November that the United Kingdom may not be in compliance with European rules on the use of the Schengen Information System, after the EuObserver website reported that the country was copying SIS data abusively and hosting it, in particular, with private companies such as Atos, previously headed by the European Commissioner-designate for the Internal Market, Thierry Breton (see EUROPE B12362A25). “Copying...
