EU mobilises 3 million euros in emergency humanitarian aid for flood victims

30/10/2019 (Agence Europe) – 3 million euros in humanitarian aid has been released to help vulnerable populations affected by severe flooding in the Horn of Africa, the European Commission announced on Wednesday 30 October. This envelope will provide emergency shelter for displaced people, food, access to safe drinking water and sanitation facilities, as well as hygiene assistance to prevent the outbreak of cholera and other water-related diseases.
