Three candidates shortlisted for post of European Data Protection Supervisor

On Wednesday 30 October, the European Commission sent the European Parliament and the Council of the EU its list of three shortlisted candidates (see EUROPE B12348A16) for the post of European Data Protection Supervisor, several sources confirmed to EUROPE. 

The list includes Wojciech Wiewiórowski of Poland, the Assistant Supervisor who took over the reins of the institution after Giovanni Buttarelli's death at the end of August (see EUROPE B12310A13), but also Yann Padova of France,...
