German sausages contaminated with listeria, situation will be under control, according to Commission

The food scandal revealed by the NGO Foodwatch on 15 October, involving German sausages contaminated with listeria and exported to some 30 countries, will be under control, the European Commission said on Friday 18 October, assuring it was in contact with the German authorities.
