CAP and soil carbon sequestration to be debated at informal ministerial meeting in Helsinki

From 22 to 24 September, at their informal meeting in the Finnish capital, the European ministers of agriculture will debate carbon sequestration in soils as a way of reducing greenhouse gases from agriculture(see EUROPE B12314A1).

This topic of soil carbon sequestration will be discussed at the working meeting on Tuesday, September 24. This will also be an opportunity for EU agriculture ministers to discuss proposals on the post-2020 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), including themes of the...
