EU mobilises €34.2 million in emergency aid for vulnerable Great Lakes populations

On Wednesday, 18 September, the European Commission announced that the EU is going to mobilise €34.275 million in humanitarian aid for the most vulnerable populations in the Great Lakes region in Africa.

The bulk of the funding—€29.375 million—will be used to cover urgent humanitarian needs in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
