Germany's about-face on country by country reporting

16/09/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 13 September, German Finance Minister Olaf Scholz announced on Twitter that he had agreed with the other SPD Ministers to support the proposal for country by country reporting, which would require companies to disclose certain accounting data, such as their revenues, profits or even taxes paid (see EUROPE B11530A1).
