Better communication on rules of origin would allow EU exporters to maximise benefits of trade agreements

European exporters are under-exploiting the tariff preferences offered by free trade agreements (FTAs), despite the recent simplification of rules of origin, the European Commission told MEPs in the European Parliament's Committee on International Trade on Tuesday 3 September.
