Commission provides for a quota of 8 952 tonnes for anchovies from Iberian area

17/07/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 16 July, the European Commission adopted a proposal amending the Fishing Opportunities Regulation for 2019 to set the total allowable catch (TAC) for anchovy (1st July 2019 to 30 June 2020) in the waters of the Iberian Peninsula at 8 952 tonnes (4 281 tonnes for Spain and 4 671 tonnes for Portugal).
