Mandates of Heads of Mission of EUPOL COPPS and EUBAM Rafah extended until 30 June 2020

09/07/2019 (Agence Europe) – The mandates of the Heads of Mission of EUPOL COPPS andEUBAM Rafah have been extended until 30 June 2020, according to the legal acts published on 8 July in the EU Official Journal. The Finnish Kauko Aaltomaa, head of EUPOL COPPS, has been in post since 1 October 2017 (see EUROPE B11872A31), while the German Günther Freisleben has been leading EUBAM Rafah since 4 December 2017.
