Commission asked to become involved in case of humanitarian vessel Sea Watch 3

27/06/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 27 June, the European Commission indicated that it had been asked to coordinate Member States' action with regard to the 42 migrants still on board the Dutch flagged vessel Sea Watch 3. The situation became tense on 26 June after the ship's captain broke the Italian blockade and pushed her boat towards Lampedusa.
