Baltic States take a new step towards synchronising their electricity networks with those of European continent

The Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia), Poland and the Commission – the latter being represented by its President, Jean-Claude Juncker – and the Commissioner for the Energy Union, Maroš Šefčovič, have signed the political roadmap to implement the synchronisation of the Baltic States' electricity networks with the European continental network via Poland.
