The European Commission published, during the week of 14 May, its quarterly update on trade defence activities during the first quarter of 2019.

Over the last three months, new definitive duties have been put in place following three investigations: one anti-dumping investigation on bicycles originating from China (see EUROPE B12175A19) and the other two being anti-subsidy investigations, also on Chinese bicycles as well as on Argentine biodiesel (see EUROPE B12189A22).
