EU Council adopts third revision of Carcinogens and Mutagens Directive

15/05/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 15 May, the Member States of the European Union adopted the third revision of the Directive on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens and mutagens (see EUROPE B12182A27). As a reminder, the directive reduces occupational exposure in respect to five agents considered a health hazard, namely: cadmium, beryllium, arsenic acid, formaldehyde and 4,4' methylene bis.
