Huawei tries again to reassure Europeans

11/04/2019 (Agence Europe) – Huawei continues to attract attention. While the day before, the US Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information Policy called them out due to mistrust, the Chinese supplier presented its arguments which were supposed to reassure Europeans at its new cybersecurity centre on 11 April(see EUROPE B12233A25). Sophie Batas, Director of Cybersecurity at Huawei, recalled that at this stage, no backdoors or incidents had been proven.
