Commission approves two new protected designations of origin from Croatia and Spain

11/04/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Thursday 11 April that it had approved the application to enter ‘Paška sol’ and ‘Cebreros’ in the Community Register of Protected Designations of Origin (PDO). Originating in Croatia, ‘Paška sol’ is a fine sea salt as well as a salt flower, both obtained in salt marshes located in the bay of the island of Pag. ‘Cebreros’ is an appellation covering white, rosé and red wines produced in municipalities...
