Mr. Domecq urges Member States to invest more in research

The Director of the European Defence Agency, Jorge Domecq, called on Member States on Tuesday, 26 March, to invest more in defence-related research. 

“Research is becoming more and more important in Europe. We need to invest more, there are still efforts to make”, he stressed on the sidelines of the ‘Capability-Driven Defence Research and Innovation Conference’ in Bucharest. 

The director recalled that Europeans had not reached the level of investment and research approved in 2007....
