Phil Hogan hands over certificate registering Mexican Tequila as PGI

22/03/2019 (Agence Europe) – Approved on 27 February (see EUROPE B12204A32), the certificate of registration of Mexican Tequila as a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) in the EU was formally presented on 20 March in Brussels by Agriculture Commissioner Phil Hogan to the Mexican Deputy Foreign Minister, Julián Ventura, and the Director of the Tequila Regulatory Council, Ramón González Figueroa.
