EU softly denounces condemnation of 2012 Sakharov Prize, Nasrin Sotoudeh

12/03/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 12 March, the EEAS spokesperson described the sentencing of Iranian lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh, recipient of the 2012 Sakharov Prize, to 7 years' imprisonment for rallying against the regime and insulting the Supreme Leader as a "worrying development", according to the Isna news agency.
