European Parliament adopts position on ‘single market' programme at first reading without going through ‘trilogue'

15/02/2019 (Agence Europe) – Contrary to what we wrote in our bulletin dated 12 February (see EUROPE 12192), the European Parliament adopted its position at first reading on the report by Nicola Danti (S&D, Italy) on the Regulation concerning the Single Market Programme, and not its position for the interinstitutional negotiations (trilogues) with the Council.
