EU Council will adopt on 12 February the adjustments on direct payments 2019 and 2020

The EU Council of Ministers will adopt on Tuesday 12 February the proposal to make technical adjustments to certain existing provisions for direct payments and rural development in 2019 and 2020, the last years of the current budgetary programming. 

This text, which was approved on 4 February by EU countries at the level of the Special Committee on Agriculture (SCA), had received the green light from the European Parliament at first reading on 31 January (see EUROPE 12184).
