EU wishes to finalise as soon as possible its decision to allow United Kingdom accession to Government Procurement Agreement

28/01/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Union is about to formalise its decision to allow the United Kingdom to accede to the World Trade Organisation’s (WTO) Government Procurement Agreement (GPA). According to a European source, the European Commission will very soon propose to the Council a recommendation for a decision to finalise the procedure for adopting the agreement by 27 February, the date of the next meeting of the GPA Committee in Geneva.
