Negotiators hope for inter-institutional agreement on combined transport in early February

The Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and representatives of the European Parliament held a first meeting on inter-institutional negotiations ('trialogues') on Wednesday 9 January concerning the revision of Directive 92/106/EEC on the combined transport of goods between Member States, during which they expressed their wish to reach an agreement in early February.
