The timetable is becoming clearer for digital files for which interinstitutional negotiations are ongoing in the EU.
With regard to the very significant reform of the European copyright framework, which provides for the creation of a neighbouring right for newspaper publishers and clarifies the tasks of platforms when publishing protected content, the co-legislators are planning a trialogue on 21 January. The Council's working group will discuss this on 9 January.
