The work of the Council of the EU in the field of Education will be rather limited to the first half of 2019, according to the work schedule of the new rotating presidency. No legislative dossiers are on the agenda of the May Education, Youth, Culture and Sport (EJCS) Council, while the work programme of the trio of rotating presidencies merely emphasises the importance of concluding negotiations on the future of the Erasmus+programme.
