European Parliament condemns “deliberate” Russian aggression in Sea of Azov

On Wednesday 12 December, the European Parliament strongly condemned "the deliberate aggression of Ukraine by the Russian Federation on 25 November in the Kerch Strait" in the Azov Sea, recalling that "there is no justification for the use of military force by Russia".

By adopting an EPP amendment to Michael Gahler's (EPP, Germany) report on Ukraine, Parliament is calling on the EU and its Member States "to adopt targeted sanctions if the Ukrainian military is not released or in the event...
