The MEPs of the Committee on Civil Liberties (LIBE) adopted, on Tuesday 3 December, by a large majority (29 votes in favour, 2 against and 6 abstentions) the draft report prepared by Emil Radev (EPP, Bulgaria) on new rules to facilitate the use of financial information for the purpose of prevention and detection of criminal offences (see EUROPE 12003).
