Member States shall validate political agreements on maritime transport and road infrastructure safety management

As announced in our last issue (see EUROPE 12150), on Monday 3 December, at the Transport Council meeting, the European Union Transport Ministers endorsed the general approach on three texts relating to maritime and road transport. 

These political agreements concern the training of seafarers and the establishment of a European one-stop shop system (see EUROPE 12149), for the maritime transport aspect, and road infrastructure safety management (see EUROPE 12141).
