European Parliament Civil Liberties Committee gives green light once again to legislation on humanitarian visas

03/12/2018 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament's Civil Liberties Committee approved by a large majority (37 votes in favour, 10 against, 3 abstentions) the draft own-initiative report on humanitarian visas by Juan Fernando López Aguilar (S&D) of Spain. The report calls on the European Commission to legislate on humanitarian visas and will now be represented in plenary in mid-December.
