Mr Oettinger confirms risk of conflict of interest against Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš

European Budget Commissioner Günther Oettinger confirmed on Monday 3 December that Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš could be in a conflict of interest between his role as Head of Government and his activities as a businessman, confirming an opinion of the European Commission's Legal Service that had leaked into the press (see EUROPE 11932).
