Publication of European Commission's 2018 report on fisheries and aquaculture market

30/11/2018 (Agence Europe) – The European Observatory for Markets in Fishery and Aquaculture Products (EUMOFA) published on Friday 30 November the 2018 version of the report 'European Fish Market', which shows an increase in fish consumption in the EU. Despite the increase in domestic production, the EU recorded a self-sufficiency rate of 41.7%, the lowest since 2011, the report shows. Indeed, in 2016, the five main species consumed in the EU (tuna, cod, salmon, Alaska pollock and shrimp)...
